CARRIE
After four years the nightmares still haunt me.
I just started my freshmen year at the University of Virginia. My goals are to get the best grades I can, stay out of my mom’s way, and try to break out of the cage I’ve locked myself in.
My first goal is going well so far.
The second not so well.
The third is the most surprising.
This one guy has a way of sneaking past my steel bars. The buzz on campus is that he’s a player, but I have my own scandal I’m trying to shake off so I try not to listen to gossip, and he makes me feel good and laugh. I haven’t done that in so long.
But the problem with stepping out from behind my protective walls are that my issues come with me and he seems to be a trigger to my deepest ones.

I’m captain of UVA’s lacrosse team, good looking, and a trust fund baby. I’m not hurting for dates. Except I don’t date.
Watching my parents, their cold manner toward me and each other, has me running in the other direction from relationships.
The first time I met her I made excuses; too young, no money, too innocent. Three things on my list I stay away from, so I walked away.
The second time I wasn’t able to though. There was just something about her. It wasn’t difficult to see she had issues, but it didn’t stop me from wanting her.
Before long I was immersed in her. But her issues are darker than I realized and it’s pulling her away from me. Will she let me fight for her? Do I have what it takes to hang on to her? Or will she crumble under the weight of it all?
First book in the Endless Series. A stand alone. No cliff hanger. But there are more books to the series revolving around the other characters in the story.

This book was awesome and I loved it. It was entertaining, funny at times, heartbreaking. The strength and growth that Carrie made was beautiful with all she went through. Nic, well what can I say about Nic he was simply beautiful. Read the book, I loved it ) )
There are editing issues and some veering away from characterization of NA, but still it's one you will want to read.
Nic and Carrie are Awesome. Carrie has been through so much. I mean hell. She's has issues from, because who wouldn't, but she hasn't let it define her or stop her from wanting to change her life for the better. She's pushing through.
Nic's life is pretty darn good. He's rich, great-looking, on his college lacrosse team, and can have any woman he wants. Him and his father don't get along, and fight about what his future will be, but Nic isn't caving to his dads demands. He has his own plans.
When these two meet they both feel something but Nic thinks she's too young, and Carrie just isn't looking. Nic can't get her out of his mind though and when he meets her again he has to find out more. They begin their relationship slow, but you can tell its going to be explosive. These two need each other, to sort of balance each other out. Nic is an awesome guy and is the sweetest with Carrie. And she needs some sweet.
Carrie is still dealing with a lot of crap from her past, emotional and scandal wise. Nic isn't scared by it though. He fights.
Love the book. Read it.
OMG!!I am feeling so many things from reading this story.This is such a wonderful story of love,friendship,family and surviving to forgive.I started this series a little out of order and I am glad because sometimes the first is always the best,in this case the entire series is awesome.I'm really glad that each book in the series can be read as a stand alone.Now to the juicy stuff,it's hard to believe that this is a romance with a cast of young adults.This is such a touching story of love and living that you forget the ages.That is a compliment to the writer and the great imagination.This is story so worth reading and having on your shelf.Without giving to much away this is a story that is going to.This you up in knots and bring you down so lovely.Take a moment to sit aside your reading time and enjoy.
I only "review" books that make me lose myself in the story. Nic and Carrie are wonderful together and I truly enjoyed this exceptional love story. I have to admit that I read this in one day, lost myself in their lives forgetting all about boring chores....who needs clean laundry or food anyway? Love this author and I will be looking for more books.
I stumbled upon this book by chance and I am really glad I did. It held my interest from the start and kept me glued until the end. Loved Nic and Carrie and how their relationship progressed. It was really sweet. Loved the premise of the story, the writing and the secondary characters who will be getting their own stories. I discovered this is the first book in a series and to my delight Books 2 and 3 are already available. There were a few editing mistakes but it didn't bother me and did not detract from the story. I am now onto Book 2 to see what is in store for Seth and the poker playing Russian girl.
Beautifully written. Love Nic's character!I will definitely be trying the others in this series.
Excellent characters and story will leave you wanting more!
